Taking health and safety in hand should not be seen as an inconvenience or a burden to a director.

I’ve stopped counting the times I’ve heard “we can’t do this, we can’t do that because of health and safety”. Negativity within an organisation can spread quickly, and it is up to directors and managers alike to break the mould and stop using health and safety as an excuse, and reminding its workforce that it is a proactive means of protecting all employees and non employees.
