All too often business failure takes business owners by surprise. You can still have large contracts in place but suddenly the cash dries up and your cash flow resembles the Sahara!

Your Visibility Plan should be unique and be a well thought through document, one which you may have spent some time working on as you brainstorm ideas, grow your profile and develop confidence (and skills) at being visible in the best way possible.

Do you know what your handshake says about you? It is rare that anyone actually invests in handshake training, isn’t it so it is a good idea to get feedback on your handshake.

Technology is a powerful tool isn’t it for the communications industry? It’s my view that everyone now has the capacity to be a journalist because of social media networks, blogs etc and with the high speed nature of Twitter, for example, I think there is a need for us to be careful in what we use social media for.

James Caan’s Business Secrets app hit Apple’s iStore last week. Within 2 days it reached No 1 in the Business Category and Apple named it “App of the Week”!
