One of the most compelling reasons we go back to a restaurant, for example, is as much about the food we received as it is the experience we had. We perceive customer-facing personnel as being the brand. We would be right to think that the right people interacting with us are in the right role (skills and suitability) and are more than capable to do their job and that ‘the management’ thinks so too and has invested the right amount of training in them.
