I don’t think there has ever been a better time to be an entrepreneur in the UK. The business landscape, culture and support network has, over the last few years, been transformed out of all recognition. The old barriers-to-entry have collapsed, the new world order is here, and anyone can be a millionaire.

At the heart of all financially and reputationally successful businesses is business planning. There are different systems and approaches people use or adapt over time but, essentially, playing your business forward with great business planning skills not only gives you the path to follow but it also keeps you on track and stops you being seduced or sidetracked by a new big idea or opportunity!

People don’t believe that mentors have mentors! Why on earth not? Two heads are always better than one! Professionally trained coaches can make a huge difference to the way you see your business AND the way you see yourself in it.

This fabulous quote from Benjamin Franklin typifies for me the utter importance of self investment and investment in training. This quote became my personal mantra many years ago and I believe all coaches and trainers know this to be true for themselves too to keep them at the top of their game skillset and mindset.
