“The customer is always right” is a well-known mantra, because without customers you have no business, it is their needs that feed a business’s sales. Getting business from your existing customers is less costly and unpredictable than attracting new ones, so retaining customers is vital for survival.

By taking time to understand your customers experience and enduring that your customer care is better than everyone else’s, you will be so focused on making your customers FEEL GOOD WHEN BUYING FROM YOU they will never have a reason to deflect to the competition!

Bev is a regular columnist for StartupTv Digital and this month you can hear Bev (it is an interactive digital publication) talking about The importance of plotting your customers’ journey from first contact through to repeat business.

It’s exciting to be a columnist in various media these days and I must say I find making the time to write articles and columns quite therapeutic from all the other activities I do in a typical day at EBA HQ.

Most businesses don’t make it beyond 5 years. Whatever size of your company, from one employee (you) upwards, you need to maintain regular contact with your customers, retain them with a great service and delivery and keep them paying on time. Without cash flow you do not have room to manoeuvre your business.
