Business owners who are motivated solely by profit or a love for their product are likely to think, “I want to sell this and I need people to buy it,” rather than, “What does the customer want and how can I best solve their problem or fulfill their need?”

Most businesses don’t make it beyond 5 years. Whatever size of your company, from one employee (you) upwards, you need to maintain regular contact with your customers, retain them with a great service and delivery and keep them paying on time. Without cash flow you do not have room to manoeuvre your business.

They say the biggest problem in sales is that people don’t ask for the sale. Well for me then the second biggest problem I find with people and sales is that they ask for the sale too soon.

This is the first in a new blog series about STRENGTHS. Two things need to happen to create a success formula.
