Develop A Profile Of Your Customers

Review your market analysis and identify your target market. You need to write a profile of your ‘Customer’, their needs and problems, wants and desires.

There is a popular saying that: “Success has many parents – but failure is an orphan”. I have found that to be true. If you do what you need to do to stay ahead of the pack – you won’t get left behind.

Those of us who watch and listen to the news won’t have escaped hearing about the state of the economy across the pond and the potential of the ripple effect on our economy. One thing is for sure, entrepreneurialism is about taking control of our livelihoods and not leaving too much to chance.

Businesses who are new to exporting may receive a request from another country to buy their products or service. This can be extremely flattering and the owner usually feels pressured and excited to enter the market without knowing if it is right for them.

You’ve decided that you have a new service or product that you want to tell the media about, but what do you do next? First of all, you need to make sure that what you think is newsworthy actually is in the media’s eyes. Both the online and offline media like to write about new things; so don’t fall into a trap of merely re-announcing something that exists with a new spin and think that’s enough.
