The latest stonkingly successful entrepreneur to join the team of Millionaire Mentors for the EBA is Paul Ragan, a multi-millionaire businessman and recent star of Channel 4′s Secret Millionaire programme which was broadcast in March this year.

Paul is the second Secret Millionaire Millionaire Mentor to work with the EBA: Gill Fielding was announced in June.

Paul Ragan founded Motaquote, the insurance brokerage company based in Cardiff at the age of 23 after leaving school with few qualifications. Motaquote grew into a multi-million pound business and became the leading UK independent insurance broker. When the business was sold in 2008, Paul became one of Wales’ youngest multi-millionaires.

As a dedicated entrepreneur, Paul has created numerous enterprises. He has successfully now completed more than 20 acqusitions, management buy-outs and venture capital activities, including a number of trade sales.

Today, in addition to managing his own investment fund which had made numerous equity investments, he is founder of Collateral Thinking consultancy. Paul spends much of his time in philanthropic and charitable activities and is a sought-after motivational speaker and business mentor. He is launching a Welsh Football Charity later this year with Ian Rush and Ryan Giggs.
