Bev James is Founder and MD of the Entrepreneurs' Business Academy and is also the MD of The Coaching Academy, the world’s largest coaching organisation, a multi-million pound business. She is a Business Performance & Entrepreneur Coach with over 20 years' experience transforming businesses in diverse sectors including coaching, training, recruitment and health & fitness. She is also a European Master Trainer for DISC personality profiling/strengths based assessment and has vast experience of the people-element of business, recruiting high performing teams, talent management and talent retention, particularly in challenging environments. Bev has coached many high profile entrepreneurs to the success they enjoy today and has a thorough understanding of the mindset and issues affecting entrepreneurs and business owners.

Gill Fielding is an international motivational speaker, businesswoman, presenter and author. Despite being born into a poor family in the East End of London with humble beginnings, she is now a self-made multi millionaire who enjoys the fruits of financial success as much as sharing her knowledge on wealth creation, financial education and investing skills to help others succeed. Gill amassed her wealth with land & property, stocks and business investments. She owns and co-owns a variety of businesses today including The Wealth Company and is a published author.
Gill was featured on ‘Secret Millionaire’ for Channel 4 and was a business expert on The Apprentice – You’re Fired show. Steve Clarke is one of the UK's leading experts on grassroots sales and marketing strategies. Not a theorist or a guru, but a doer.

Simon, who is the author of Build a Brand in 30 Days has advised British Airways, Barclays, Aviva, Prêt A Manger and The Broads National Park on branding, will explain to EBA delegates why you should increase your marketing activities during recession and that you should also consider increasing your prices. “In a recession everybody goes price-cutting crazy, but whilst that will generally give a short term sales boost it can also do long term damage to your brand, dragging you into commodity hell. If your brand really wants to win a place in the psyche of the market place, being cheap isn’t necessarily going to help."
And concerning marketing, Simon told EBA's Bev James, “The convention in recession is to cut marketing budgets. It happens all the time. But marketing efforts will lead you out of the recession. Cutting marketing first is like giving away your shoes! I would never suggest that marketing budgets shouldn’t be reviewed and made to work harder for every penny. But don’t just slash at them and think you are helping your brand!”

Nic Rixon is an entrepreneur, mentor, coach, trainer, presenter and motivational speaker. He is a successful entrepreneur who built and sold a group of companies in manufacturing, property, training and commercial design industries by the time he was 45. He now lives in Madrid with his wife and has two independent children. He knows first hand all about the problems of being in business and managing people. He faced these problems daily for 25 years. His philosophies are based on practical experience and of finding solutions that work. Nic is passionate about personal and business development.
His introduction to the world of self and business-improvement was with the Dale Carnegie Organisation where he went on to become one of their leading trainers in the UK. Nic is also an NLP Master Practitioner and a Fellow of The Coaching Academy.

In 1991 former Falklands War Para Tony Banks identified an opportunity in the care sector to provide a new standard of privately owned and operated care homes. He bought Lisden House in the countryside setting of Kirriemuir and spent more than a year and £750,000 to convert the private house into an industry-leading care home that residents and their families would enjoy and be proud of.
Since then, Balhousie Care Group has grown into one of Scotland’s leading providers of residential care facilities. Tony runs his business with a focus on balancing the commercial aspects and responsibilities of a care home owner with the ambitions to set a new standard in the sector.
The Balhousie Care Group includes 22 homes with capacity for up to 850 residents. Tony plans to create 11 more sites by 2011, double the number of beds to 1,500 within three years Tony is estimated to be worth over £60m as the sole shareholder of Balhousie, which grew 80% in 2009 and is on track to almost double its £8m turnover to £18m in 2010.
The Scottish Falkland’s veteran is also a member of the appeal board for the Combat Stress Enemy Within appeal, which is aiming to raise £30m to help veterans traumatised by wartime experiences and he has personally donated a six figure sum to the charity.
He began supporting the charity after appearing in Channel 4′s The Secret Millionaire last year, living undercover in Liverpool. There, he met Iraq war veteran Lee Sanger, who suffered from PTSD. This experience prompted him to become involved with Combat Stress and provided the impetus for his return to the Falklands this year where he carried out a four day, 50-plus mile trek to Port Stanley for a Channel 4 documentary to raise awareness of, and much needed funds for, Combat Stress.
